WELCOME BACK, TYT! :D - 10 apr (fri)

YAY! the np girls went to fetch tyt on good friday!

at T2, the super old one. haha.

thereafter, we went to eat steamboat at bugis! the one which HOs/CIs had dinner at last time.

it was still damn nice. this time without the stench of the cockerels. lol.

took lots of pictures using different cameras and i havent consolidated the photos yet.

currently posting those on my phone. yaye (:

hah, a shot taken on the super long escalator which was at least 3 storeys high(?), or in other words, the escalator which i feared ):

here's how long it is. it's only 'ONE' storey.

looking up isn't as bad as looking back down.

Hello! Campaign - 11 Apr (sat)

met up with eyf and then met nicktong at clem and trained down to dhoby ghaut.

the supposed big white tent wasn't really a tent. LOL.

it was just an area set aside for the event.

there were lots of ACsians!

after some briefing, we got the shirt and the stickers and spammed photos (:

we set off for isetan at the wheelock place.

and th journey was beyond words. i think the passerbys must have alr deemed us as mad people who sneaked out of woodbridge.

here's why i said this. we set off in a pretty large group. and on the way at traffic lights, we would just wave and say hello to the strangers opposite. IT WAS A REALLY LOUD ONE.

several responsive peeps would wave back while others just give us a strange stare. hahaha.

we were then separated into groups of threes and dispatched around the area outside isetan.

for half the rest of the day, my lines revolve around the following paragraph:

Hello! we're from the Hello! campaign. there's 500 of us around orchard aiming to collect 100,000 hellos from strangers. would you pls support us by penning down your name and contact? it's be entered into the Guinness world record.

the guy in-charge of our group, Darryl, said MY TEAM (EYF, NIC AND OF COS ME) WAS THE BEST cos we accumulated the most number of names! woohoo!!

fyi, we had around 50 names within 2 hours. damn pro right! (:

had lot of fun saying hello to people all over the world. a couple from columbia too.

and we 'marched' back to plaza singapura from taka after meeting the other groups.

another crazy march. this time i felt it was a little overdone. cos we were really creating noise pollution. and from their expressions, i can see that few passerbys were alr irritated by us.

but well, we have that right for the four hours, so who cares! lol.

after a really short debrief for the event, we went off to pledge our support and get the complimentary polaroid shot! damn coolz.

it was pouring then. poor lappys there with no one tending.

then trained home and had 'lunch' with yangyang and eyf.

p.s. yangyang ate two mcchicken burgers O.O
